Tim Lilley Joins QDMA Staff

Watkinsville, Ga. – The Quality Deer Management Association recently announced that Tim Lilley has joined the QDMA staff as the director of public relations.

“We are very pleased to welcome Tim to our team,” said Brian Murphy, executive director of the QDMA. “His extensive experience in media and public relations will be extremely valuable in our efforts to expand and enhance the QDMA's visibility in a number of ways.”

Lilley served previously as public relations manager for Tracker Marine, a sister company to QDMA partner Bass Pro Shops and the world's largest freshwater boat builder. He also has worked on the publications staff of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and served as Sports Information Director at his alma mater, West Virginia University.

Lilley is a lifelong outdoorsman and avid deer hunter, and has significant experience as a freelance outdoor writer and photographer, with more than 600 features published in regional and national media.

“I am thrilled to join the QDMA staff,” Lilley said. “I look forward to helping the association expand and enhance its visibility as we move forward. This is an exciting opportunity with an exciting and dynamic organization.”

Lilley has a daughter, Jennifer, 18, of Nixa, Mo.
